Verde Camp, a complex of half dozen small houses, was our home away from home for 4 days - 2 before and 2 after the bike tour. It was in a perfect location, in a hip residential neighborhood only two blocks away from So. Congress St. where there were plenty of good eateries, bars, and action.
Mike and our abode
Our little house
A great oak dominates Verde Camp
A restored classic trailer can be rented
Rooster art and tin-can chairs adds to the funky ambiance
Magnificent oaks of Travis Heights District - a small vest pocket park - in our neighborhood
A small deck was a good place to assemble our Bike Fridays and Peter's Moulton
Hmmm, now did I pack the front fork . . . ?
