Haneck Ranch - Patagonia, AR

Riding helmets

Near Bariloche is the Haneck Family Ranch where we spent the day hiking, horse-back riding, and partook in another family hosted meal

Preparing to Giddy-Up!

Funny looking tail

Frank from AZ looks like he's at home in the saddle

Riding into the hills

Part of the group hiked into the hills. Due to the erupting volcano in the Andes, the day was quite hazy with ash.

You look good in the helmet!

Dawn climbs on board for the ride back to the ranch

Home on the range . . . a view of the Haneck Ranch land

It's time for a good ol' Western BBQ . . . So. American style

Changa checking on the meat

Tasty home-made sausages

A big feast after a hard day in the saddle

Another wonderful home-cooked meal

Tasty cream brulee for dessert

Ushshaya, Changa's daughter

Changa's wife and two kids - Ushshaya and Poncho - were terrific hosts

The Haneck Family are 5th generation immigrants from Germany who's ancestors immigrated to Chile in the mid-1800's
