Burrowing Owls

Owl watchers

After a great day at Sac National, we drove to Davis to view burrowing owls located at the edge of Wildhorse Golf Course. What a fantastic way to end the day. We spotted a colony of owls hiding in the man-made burrows, some made with PVC pipes stuck into a mound.

Burrowing owls are little guys and are very cute!
